A Level Media Studies

This is my first ancillary task- newspaper advert for my documentary. Following my research, I included the logo for my documentary, the Channel 4 logo, stills from the documentary and the time and date it will be shown at. I used a pink background and large logo because it is eye-catching and will catch the newspaper reader's attention straight away. My advert needed to be eye-catching because it will be a small advert in a newspaper, mainly because a small independent company creating their first documentary would not have the budget to be able to pay for their advert to be displayed over a whole page of a newspaper, especially if it was a newspaper that is sold across the country, e.g. The Sun or The Daily Mail. They may have the budget for a larger advert in a smaller, local newspaper like The Comet (Letchworth, Hitchin, Stevenage and Biggleswade or The Mercury (Hertfordshire), however the target market for my documentary...
